We hired Ryan to play at our sales offsite meeting in September 2022. He was absolutely fantastic through every step of the process. He was responsive. He was open to discussing the set list (and vibe we were looking to create). He showed up early and introduced himself to everyone. He was engaged (and engaging) from the moment he arrived to the moment he left. Recognizing that we were tight for time, Ryan didn't take a break for 2 1/2 hours! He played straight through to ensure that we got the entire set in. Ryan is an incredibly skilled musician. He has a tremendous voice, impressive guitar chops and can play a wide range of genres. Overall, it was an A++++ experience and I wouldn't hesitate to hire Ryan again. In fact, I'm looking forward to it next time we're in BC. Thanks Ryan!

Ryan Laird was the perfect option for our backyard 80s party. This musician was fast to communicate, professional, reliable with his start time (then played long into the night) and so soooo talented as a one man band. I’m not sure why he’s not famous but he’s surely on his way. We were so lucky to have his music - he made the party! Will definitely be hiring him for future events.

Ryan is a great musician! It was my friends 40th surprise birthday and I booked him solely based on his reviews and we could of not be more pleased with his performance. Everyone who attended the birthday party commented on his songs and we were all singing and dancing along to his music. I recently had the opportunity to meet and work with West Coast Wedding Band. They performed at a wedding I worked in Squamish, BC and were fantastic to work with. The band sounded amazing and had everyone dancing the night away. They were both professional and incredibly easy going with timeline delays as we were 15 minutes behind schedule for the couples first dance. I look forward to working with them and hearing them play again soon!

Where to start!?Ryan and the Best Coast Boys played at our wedding and completely exceeded expectations!Communication with the manager was smooth and timely. We were able to hammer out the details of the booking over the course of a few emails and they made sure that all questions were accurately answered. They provided a robust songlist for us to look over to ensure they were going to be the right vibe.As for the day of, WOW! Ryan customized our first dance and it was an instant hit with the guests (they are still singing it a week later!), and the band learned both the first dance and parent dance for us. They kept the party rocking all night and brought the same energy whether there were a few people on the dancefloor or it was packed. They even stayed on an extra hour (for a small fee) when it was clear that the guests had not finished dancing. We have received many compliments from our guests on how the band was much better than your regular wedding DJ, and how talented and friendly Ryan was.We highly recommend you reach out to them if you are looking to kick your event up to the next level!

Ryan and the rest of the band were amazing! We loved their rendition of our first dance song and when the dance started, they kept the night going hard! It was an absolute blast and they were a highlight from our wedding for sure!
